Where are the car keys?

A question that comes up several times a day at a car dealership.

Is it in the safe? Is it in the office? Or did my colleague take this key as well? Before you know it, you’ve wasted at least another 15 minutes.

As well as searching for cars on the forecourt, staff are often also looking for the car key for the vehicle in question. We’re getting this question more and more through our BLT software. A combination of the two is, of course, perfect! And no sooner said than done: as well as tracking the car, BLT now also offers the key-tracking feature via the Finder app.

How exactly does the Finder app work?

The BLT software shows which zone the car or key is in. Once you’ve reached the relevant zone, you’ll often spot the car in question. If this isn’t the case, you can also use the Finder app. This shows you precisely on your phone which direction you need to walk in. This also applies to the keys. The LED light in the Triangle Tag will then start flashing, so you can immediately see which car or car key it is.

Save time searching in the key safe

Are you looking for a specific car key? The light on this Triangle Tag will flash immediately, allowing you to spot the correct key in the safe straight away. Keys no longer need to be arranged in a specific VIN number order within the safe, as the BLT software shows you exactly which key you need.

If, as a car dealership, you have purchased cars of the same colour and type and the keyless key has not yet been paired, you will spend a long time searching for the VIN number. By immediately attaching a Triangle Tag to the interior mirror, you save a huge amount of search time.
